"The Lockdown Legend" is a picture book explaining the experience of COVID-19 Lockdown from the point of view of the birds who used to eating fast food leftovers in the cities suddenly lost their source of food. They must go back to foraging bugs and seeds in nature while wondering what happened to the humans."
This book came to life thank to "The Great Margin" programme by Paper Nations who provided me with motivation and know-how during the difficult time that was the Lockdown of March 2020. Special thanks to my tutor Ronnie McGrath for opening my eyes to surrealist poetry and my editor Elen Caldecott who worked so patiently with me to make the text all come together.
